Knocked-Out Tooth

If an adult tooth is knocked out, handle it only by the crown (the chewing surface). Do not touch the root. If possible, gently rinse it with milk (not water) and try to place it back in the socket. If you can’t, store it in a small container of milk or in your cheek and get to our clinic within 30-60 minutes.

Toothache

Rinse your mouth with warm, salty water and take over-the-counter pain relief if necessary, but avoid placing it directly on the gums.
